Instead of execises, students are required to self-study cryprography based on a text that is availble here. The text refers to draft chapters 1 and 2 of the 3rd edition of a book entitled "Contemporary Cryptography". Questions can be asked at any time during the lecture. If asked by the students, some cryptosystems that are either historically relevant (e.g., Enigma, DES, ...) or widely used in the field (e.g., AES, RSA, Diffie-Hellman, ) can be presented in the lecture.

The lecture slides will be available soon.
